Inuovi Review and Giveaways

Hi everyone! I'm back! After 2 months of hiatus I'm back with a bang and you'll know why later! :)

A friend of mine gave me heaps of Inuovi products so it's time to review them and share it to you all.

If you're like me who's a late bloomer in discovering beauty brands and probably saying you haven't heard of the brand before, I nuovi means "The New" and their research and manufacturing facilities are located in Italy, France and Japan. I also know that they used to sell their products in Singapore but at the moment I can only find them online.

So, let's get on to the goodies!

12 amazing eye shadows, 1 glitter pot and 1 high intensity eye liner which I will point out to you later.

And a blush and blue eye liner that I forgot I have when I took the first picture!

Now, more pictures of the eye shadows!

Let's get to know them row by row. (Please note that some of the shades I have to swatch several times due to my skin colour so you can see  as much as possible the real shade and intensity of the eye shadows.)

left to right: lush, ore, aluminum, gold, hype

The 3 in the middle are part of the Metallogy Eye Shadow Molten Metal Range and very intense. It has a rich and creamy texture, with excellent colour pay off and long lasting effect. It's formulated with a very high percentage of metallic pearls for dramatic shimmery effect. It retails for US $22 each.

The darker colors are nice to use for a night out if you want that intensity and long lasting effect. I do use the Gold for daytime wear as I love a little bit of shimmer from time to time to perk up my lids. The only thing I don't like about this range is the lid. As you can see, when it's closed you can't see what shade it is and has to read the details at the bottom and most of the time I just open it to see if I'm getting the right one.

The 2 on the farthest left and right (lush and hype) are part of the Colours D27 Pressed Wet/Dry Color Pigment range.  It's a high intensity, highly pigmented eye shadow colour that can be used wet or dry. Use dry for a natural finish and wet for long lasting, water resistant intense colour. It retails for US $18 each.

My favorite of them all is the Lush (far left). I use this most often for nude or natural look and it's darker in the picture. It's a little bit creamy when applied and has that shimmery glow that I love.

Hype (far right) is a high intensity blue. A little goes a long way with this beauty and I reckon will be great for people who has blue or green eyes.

left to right:  sandstone, rich gold, bright orange, fog

First up is the Sandstone (far left). This is the eye liner I was talking about earlier! And silly me, I didn't even realize it until I started taking pictures for this post. I have always wondered why this one feels and pigments differently from others. Blonde moment there! :p

Anyway, this is part of the Linerpack High Intensity Eye Liner range. It's a highly pigmented compact cake eyeliner especially developed for dramatic definition of eye line. It retails for US $26.

It's a dark brown shade and has some shimmer dust which unfortunately the camera wasn't able to capture. What I like about this eye liner is that although it has a shimmer on it, it's a matte finish when applied as you can see on the pic. I haven't tried it yet as an eye liner but based on my experience for using it as an eye shadow, it's definitely long lasting! Almost lasted me all day which is a surprise as I have oily lids and shadows always disappear on my lids after 3-4 hrs!

Next up are the 2 beauties in the middle ( rich gold and bright orange). They're part of the Trucolor D30 High Intensity range. It's a revolutionary high color definition eye shadow formula that feels like a powder but applies like a cream. It claims to be long lasting, smudge proof and water resistant. It retails for US $22.

The packaging is different as you can see on the very first pic of this post. The pan is a lot bigger compared to the Colours D27 range. Pans are removable as well so you can put it in your magnetic palettes. The colors are bright and vibrant like what the name suggests. The Rich Gold is shimmery while the Bright Orange only has a nice creamy texture. The Bright Orange is not that intense and I have to swatch it a lot of times for the color to be visible in the picture. It's creamy and nice when applied so this is good for those who wants to add color in their lids but just wants a subtle effect.

Last one is the Fog from the Colours D27 range. It's a cute moss green shade with lots of shimmer. This is nice to mix with other shades and can give your peepers a little pop.

I didn't swatch the glitter pot as I'm very bad with glitters! I always end up with glitters all over my face and body no matter how careful I try. Anyway, the shade is Liquid Dream and bright blue green color. It can be used on your face and body and best used with a makeup fixative.

left to right:  uranus, fairytale, dewdrop, bamboo

This is the last row and although the colors are bright, it's not that intense when applied. I actually have to swatch these a lot of times so you can see the colors. Uranus is a subdued pink shade and doesn't have a lot of shimmer unlike Fairytale that has heaps of it. Fairytale is a muted darker pink shade that I like. Dewdrop is a peachy shade and very pale and nice to use as a base shade or just to put a little bit of shimmer on your lids and still gives you that natural look. Last one is Bamboo which is a yellow green shade. This one looks bright but not that intense when applied so you can layer it on and just play with it.

Now, let's go to the blush and eye liner!

The blush is a soft and fine cheek blush color that also doubles up an eyeshadow which I didn't know until today! haha This is also enriched with Vitamin E which helps prevent aging and skin thickening. It retails for US $20.

The blush I got is from the Colours D36 Pressed Pigment Blusher range and I have the Pixie shade. It's a nice light pink shade. I like that it's not highly pigmented so you can easily build it up if you want it to be more defined.

Another BH member, lovely IndieAna of Indieanna1 blog did a review of the Pink shade and you can check it out here.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who knows this brand! :)

Last is one of my favorite eye liners! It's from the Fluid Liner Waterproof Eye Marker range in Sky shade. It's a super soft, high intensity waterproof eyeliner pencil. It applies like a liquid and transfer-proof and smudge-proof as well. It retails for US $13.

I love that the tips are not sharp and creamy when applied. It's a bright blue and I have to go easy when applying it as it's highly pigmented. It does last all day long and makes my eyes pop and I feel like I have blue eyes whenever I wear it! :)

Now, if you have read this far, it's time for you to be rewarded and know my surprise! Yey!
